They work to twist the wire if you are patient and very slow with the drill. A two wire twister is never really needed as the wire also twists two wires together. The biggest problem with using it while working on a home wiring project is getting all the wires in the device right. It takes a lot of practice with lots of glitches wasting the wire. Unfortunately I reverted to old fashioned hand stacked twists as they didn't work well in tight spaces and were very slow and inconsistent to crimp. I haven't had much luck with them as wire strippers. If you give them one, start there. It's much easier to strip the wire with a hand stripper before twisting it with this tool.
