I used these to replace the fluorescent lights in my RV. U-tube involves the use of two strips. I used two strips of pure white. They weren't bright enough and gave off a bluish cast. I then bought these warm ones. Again, two stripes are not bright enough and too yellow. I ended up using two of each. Only 4 lanes. Together they're still not as bright as the original fluorescent ones, but close. The combination of warm and white balances the irritation of each one individually. They work, but if my other fluorescent bulb burns out, I'll buy another fluorescent bulb. The efficiency couldn't be better, because the heat generated by two fluorescent tubes is about the same as that of four such strips.
