So I hesitated to buy this office chair because there aren't any reviews. After much searching for an office chair in the +/- $100 range I really haven't seen anything that looks quality (strong/heavy ie not light, with a plastic aluminum base), well padded, comfortable seat cushion, with armrests, that you can still see him being shoved under the table and able to bend forward. It ticked all of those boxes, despite costing more than I expected (for my 10 year old table). While it's a bit more expensive, it still seems affordable compared to comparable writing chairs priced at $250+ that can be seen at popular furniture stores. So I bought it knowing I could return it too. I'm so glad I did. This chair is of excellent quality and materials and although it was slightly over my budget I am confident that it will stand the test of time and provide a desk chair for my son even in his college days. Buy in gray and the photos are very accurate and the upholstery seems very durable, even stain resistant if you want. Buy it, you won't regret it!
