I ordered this for a very stubborn cat who is constantly stealing food from our pens. We've tried aerosol cans and even a crash pad, but she's smart enough to bypass them or know when we're out of range. So I ordered this hoping to catch her when she thought we weren't watching. It's small, still a bit big for a cat, but after a day of wearing she's used to the extra size/weight. But it won't consistently shock. We pushed the button multiple times with no response, and then she nonchalantly went downstairs and stole what she needed. I've tried it on my arm and only got a shock reaction about 1 time out of 10. We won't help with what we need, so I returned it.
