Small clear acrylic box as advertised. The recall that you can't see through it most likely didn't remove the acrylic protection, which is very clearly stated in the product description and photos. There is also a small magnetic clasp to secure the lid. Nothing out of the ordinary, but surprisingly strong once secured with the included ties.
