This was my first foray into the more expensive hand brush market. For most of my days I used what my dentist gave me. From time to time I've tried a fancy electronic toothbrush. (I'm looking at you, the super-expensive Sonicare electric toothbrush.) Neither option was satisfactory or I would have stopped here. This product really shines with its large head and crossed bristles. I can say it takes a little less time than using toothbrushes or Sonicare brushes. To be fair, Sonicare cleans your teeth just like a professional teeth cleaning. But he has a tiny head, and you will be for a while. Dental brushes are simple and don't have fancy heads like these. I've had this brush for two months and am very happy with it. I dare say that I brush my teeth a little more often because it seems less difficult. I plan on buying another one in a few months. EDIT: I've never had a problem keeping this toothbrush clean as one of the other reviewers mentioned. Maybe it's noodles? I use Crest Pro Health Advanced.
