Bought two of these for USB connection to a pair of Dell U2718Q monitors. On the old system, every time I plugged in one of the monitor's USB ports, the SYSTEM process would start looping and I could see the USB hub being constantly added and removed. The other seemed to work, but not at USB3 speeds. The system had some USB issues so I figured that was the issue. When I was building a new system everything seemed to be working fine until I checked USBView and saw that the hubs on the monitors were not running at USB3 speeds. I replaced those cables and used the ones that came with the monitor and everything is working properly now. Plug this cable back in, it won't work properly anymore. These cables are inexpensive. Unfortunately they don't work.
