This works much better than the plastic versions I've tried. This photo is of a small area of my floor that I've already vacuumed and used with a lint roller. It picks up small bits stuck deep in the carpet! Also works on thick carpets. It's quite abrasive so personally I wouldn't use it on the couch, but it's great on carpets and area rugs. There are glue marks on the product itself and the construction looks a little dirty which bothered me, but it's still very durable.
