I decided to go in the path of the Oral-b Professional Care electric toothbrush after getting the go-ahead from the dentist to make the purchase of an electric toothbrush. The primary signs were that there was plaque on teeth that were difficult to reach in the back of the mouth as well as caries on the teeth that were used for chewing. Brushing your teeth with a traditional toothbrush is something that I used to strongly advocate for but now regard to be an antiquated instrument.
