I am an appliance repairer and was looking for a gauge or gauge set that I could possibly give to new interns. For the price this set covered all the basic features they would need and had some other features that would be useful in some cases plus fuse protection on clamp free power settings. I've compared some of the readings from this gauge to my Fluke 117 and 323 combo and they're pretty accurate. Both gauges feel solid enough and seem good enough for light professional or hobbyist use. This kit contains 3 sets of wires, two standard sets and one with small diameter tips, plus alligator clips for two sets of wires, several jumper wires with small alligator clips, a pouch and batteries for both gauges. My only complaint is that the description of this meter says it has low Z or low impedance, while the manual I was able to find actually has none. I double checked the internal resistance of both gauges and neither worked as a low-z gauge. However, the included features are worth the price in my opinion. In particular, the non-contact test function in both meters.
