Review on UGREEN Enclosure Aluminum Adapter Compatible by Eric Budd

I'm using this on a pawnshop laptop that came without a hard drive (found out none of the pawnshop computers have one, hence the prices are so low) but, more importantly, it didn't have a hard drive storage basket when I bought it. Searching for a suitable container yielded vague results, and I was on the verge of finding a way to connect my hard drive to the computer in some other, less reliable way. Luckily, I stumbled upon a revelation about external hard drives. It took some more research and some Google searches before the computer recognized my hard drive. Finally found this in a PC Mag article entitled "What to do if the external hard drive doesn't show up". Whoever wrote this article is saving lives because I would NEVER make it work on my own. Just not that tech savvy :) The case has only been running for a few hours as of this writing, but as it's hooked up to a computer that I'll be using a lot, I'll update it if anything changes. So far, so good. It's pretty solid and quiet! I was expecting to hear a buzz as it downloaded my game from Steam which just ended after 4.5 hours but no sound. Something as stressful as downloading a 60GB game certainly got it pretty hot, so of course don't put it on your lap or whatever if you're using it with a laptop like I did. And while I'm sure exercise is discouraged as I prefer to use my computer on my bed, I would move around and often carefully pick up the device while it was blinking and working. There was also no movement detected by the drive, no vibrations or the like. Pretty impressed and a little annoyed lol. Maybe someone more tech savvy than me can point out something wrong, but it does what I need. I'm using it with a SATA 3/SSD hybrid drive.
