Understand bad reviews after purchase. - 5 stars for the quality of the tool, made of really good metal and durable. Make sure you use some WD40 oil on the tool's business side before using it. - 1 star for functionality. The rivets don't snap, it takes a long time trying to get them to snap, but eventually they snap. Like I said make sure you lubricate the tool, this will help hold them in place. Once the rivets finally snap into place, they are permanent. Once they break they are really difficult to remove and sometimes you have to disassemble the tool. My recommendation: use the tool only to tighten the rivets, remove the tool without breaking the end, then use a cutter or pliers to trim the end. At least it worked for me. The tool can definitely be used once you figure out what works best for you.
