If I were to buy a new helmet now, I would take the same set. I don't believe in an optical tracking system like the Vive cosmos, but station tracking is doing so well that I have no doubt in continuing to work with this technology. You can "blindly" pick up objects from the floor in those positions of the controller in which there is no vision from the helmet and cannot be, behind your back, for example, or under your leg when you look forward. It's very realistic. It is unlikely that this will work with Oculus or Cosmos. You can even chop blocks behind your back in Beatsaber, like a tennis player who "ran" the ball. This greatly simplifies the development in any VR games. Despite the strong advancement of VR technologies in recent years, much remains to be finalized with a "file". For example, there are no covers in the kit, or there is no โrifleโ holder for controllers, without such a holder it is very difficult to aim with a two-handed weapon, because both hands are hanging in the air. This is already in the amount of 5000. I'm still using a photo frame for shooting. Yeah. I take each controller in my hands and press them against the photo frame to make a relatively rigid structure. Sounds ridiculous, but it works amazingly cool. I'm waiting for the "gun" from Ebay to come, in which the controllers are attached to the magnets. And we must not forget that so far all VR headsets have a blur to the edges of the image due to lenses. Itโs also incredibly hot inside the helmet in outdoor games, Iโm surprised WHY they donโt build a small cooler inside ?! In the Beatsaber, sweat flows from under the helmet and you wipe it off in a minute between tracks, like in training. I would also like a cover for the helmet, because sometimes you forget that it is on you and you want to scratch your nose. Yeah. Grab it, the helmet is the best for the money. Compared to the Valve index, at the moment there are one and a half times better performance at twice the price. Half-life Alyx was developed for Valve Index and HTC Vive ;) All helmets are far from eSports and sometimes you donโt understand why they did it this way, because after 5 minutes itโs obvious that it was necessary differently.
