- 1) Perfect tracking accuracy. 2) Good picture, the highest resolution in its price category. 3) 90 frames per second is very good, it doesn't sway, my monitor has less now. 4) Comfortably sits on the head, does not slip. 5) If you wish, you can buy a wireless module (however, it's expensive that PPC, 45k). 6) In the future, interchangeable faceplates with a different picture quality may appear, it will be enough to replace them. 7) The controllers perfectly accurately convey the movement, even a small trembling of the hand will be noticed. 8) 360° tracking by wall-mounted stations. The system sees hands even behind the back and under the foot. The system does not need light in the room (!). If you turned on the helmet and forgot to take the controllers, you can see them in the virtual space, wherever you throw them in the room, even on the closet, they just hang in the air, you can immediately find them. 9) Haven't encountered a single game yet that can't be run on this headset, it pairs perfectly with SteamVR, the main VR hub to run anything and everything.
- 1) These are the first Vive controllers, they are very accurate but huge. In the heat of battle in a shooter, you forget that each controller sticks forward another 8 centimeters from your hand. As a result, when you quickly recharge, you hit one against the other with fierce force. I broke one (repaired) so little, I had to buy silicone cases for 2500. 2) The handle expands towards the index finger, which is UNCONVENIENT and does not have a slip stop. When you play Beatsaber and you need to wave your arms 5 times per second, the controllers gradually slip out of your hands, no matter what you do, because your hands get tired and sweaty. I'm thinking of attaching a lanyard from skating ski poles instead of that elastic standard rope, maybe this will fix the situation. 3) The controller is suitable for a leisurely game of something, but for a fast one it is no longer particularly convenient. I explain: it does not have a stick like gamepads. He has a plate-sensor, which you can press and from the position of the thumb on it, the motion vector is read, like a stick. As a result, you have to move your thumb much more than with the stick, and also click it in most cases. Stick + 2 buttons is much more convenient. 4) The side Grip button, which simulates the clamping of an object, is not very convenient for quick use. It's quite tight and you can miss in the heat of battle, but in games like Population one you need to use it to grab objects and climb. All in all, a tough test. Only in Half-Life Alyx realized that the grip should be assigned to the trigger and the game is ideally convenient to play with these controllers. Half-life Alyx is a separate story altogether. In a good way. 5) On the bottom right of the helmet, the interpupillary distance adjustment screw. It works like hell, when you need to change the twist and turn and nothing changes, but sometimes in the middle of the game once and for half the view, a black rectangle and distance stripes hang for 7-8 seconds. Whatever you play, the loss is instant. 6) One controller costs 10500. Think like a phone. Take covers right away, if you break them, you will fall into depression)
- - Good picture (the level of perception of the grid is highly dependent on your video card. I played at 1060 6 GB at the beginning and then tried it at 3060 12 GB.).) - Precise (the main thing is to set everything up and place it correctly.). - Strong controllers (during operation the wall, the monitor was damaged, the chandelier was killed.). - It’s comfortable for bespectacled people to play (it’s convenient for me .) .
- - VR is still expensive. - Headphones like to snap off to the side (especially in games like Beat saber.), a trifle but unpleasant.
- easy installation, lightweight, sits well on the head, you can fold the screen without removing the helmet itself - it's convenient
