We were simply impressed with this product. We use it as a battery holder on our boat. There is nothing worse than visiting your holiday home after a long week at work, only to find that your battery is dead and you have to wait hours for it to be recharged. I bought a model with magnets, not sure if the magnets would be strong. enough. I was shocked at how strong the magnets are. So much so that I checked the magnets with the washer and then had to use pliers to take the washer off. crazy! I installed the panel on the canopy of our boat lift. The flexibility of the panel made it a good spot, always facing the sun. A few weeks later a violent storm broke out and ripped open the canopy. The plate survived, but the lantern to which it was attached was severely torn. As a result, the panel fell into the lake, where it remained submerged for several days. Now my concern has shifted from the strength of the magnets to whether the panel that was submerged can charge anything at all. I tested the output with a multimeter and the performance didn't change. Still had the appropriate voltage and amperage. Brilliant! I am very happy with this panel. The magnets are very strong, the durability of the product was exceptional and Rich at ITC Solar was great at responding quickly to any questions/concerns I had. Great product, great customer service!
