So the product delivered was a legitimate Sony branded Vita memory card of the correct capacity (8GB). The weird thing was that when I linked it to my Vita it said it was linked to another PSN account and that if that account (she told me the username) wasn't mine I should format the card to to delete them completely. That's a bit confusing. Since I can only read this card via the vita, I could not check whether the user's personal data was stored on it. Remember that Vita has cameras. So you could possibly have sensitive data on this little card. In any case, now that I know it's USED I'm hoping it will hold up. There is a finite number of read/write cycles you will get on flash media and only god knows how old this card is. While getting a branded card is a bonus, I would prefer a brand new generic card. And shame on that seller for not properly erasing data when selling used stuff.
