Phenomenal Fan/Light - Terrible assembly instructions

I would have given this fan 5 stars were it not for the simple fact that it comes with horribly poor assembly instructions. In fact, I bet many DIYers will have a hard time assembling this fan without help. The assembly instructions are in ridiculously small print, illogical and in some places downright wrong. For example, look at the assembly instructions on page 08 (see image above) and compare them with the image on the back of the remote control receiver (see image above). Given the large number of wires involved, you might think that the instructions include a very clear diagram with a picture. There's no mention of where to place the antenna after the remote receiver is inserted into the mount (where it's so tight it's actually rubbing against the ceiling). There's also no mention of dip switches on the remote receiver, but I figured it out (don't touch unless there's interference from other remotes). Oh, and the light frame (2 photos above with fingers pointing to the correct holes I should have guessed) was a headache as I had to look up for a long time to figure out where the correct holes were on earth. (because there are many holes in this device). Also, the little cable that runs from the fan to the light doesn't indicate whether to hide it in the light frame or leave it open - I tucked it in the frame. The fan/light design is a premium option. - The blades are very light but beautiful, and the remote control works perfectly. When I turned on the fan it was blowing air towards the ceiling so I turned it off then hit the reverse button on the remote and toggled it from low speed to medium speed to high speed. The airflow is perfect for my son's 13 1/2" x 13 1/2" bedroom. The light can also be dimmed and brightened, simply press and hold the 'Light' button on the remote to the desired brightness (it will keep changing until released). I read somewhere that the light isn't bright enough, but my son was shocked at how bright it glows when it's on all the way. The fan is quiet and doesn't wobble at all - My son's ceiling height is 8ft, so the blades are about 7ft off the floor - There is a label on the fan assembly that says the blades must be at least 8 feet long (which is about 7 1/2'). That would mean you can't mount this fan on an 8 foot ceiling, which is clearly a bug. I didn't like that label anyway so I removed it from the fan assembly. Finally, I decided to turn off the existing wall switch (the one that used to turn on my old fan). This way I can turn the light/fan off when exiting the bedroom and turn it on when entering the bedroom (assuming the remote wasn't used to pre-turn off the lights). Overall I really like this fan/light - it's beautiful, functional and has a very simple remote control. If the manufacturer corrects the assembly instructions, it definitely deserves 5 stars. I took some short videos with my phone but haven't transferred them to my computer yet so I'll have to wait.
