I used this for my main flash for my EOS t3i. I have a 430EX flash that I have used with my EOS-1 for many years. I used it on my old EOS XS digital but only in manual mode. When I got the T3i I decided manual mode would do and got this flash. Although it doesn't have a strong zoom that I can handle as long as it supports flash mode. And he does it very well. At full power it's great for its range. While I wish the general build quality was better, for the price it's well made. Eventually I'll get another 430 flash to use, but for now. I will be using this flash on camera and using the old 430ex flash as an extra side light if needed. I recommend this flash if you are looking for a decent auto flash at an affordable price. And today everyone has to save wherever possible.
