And the oil pressure stays where it should be. Used to use this in my old detroit diesel in my Chevy and now have it in a 292 Y Block in a 1960 F100, doesn't burn oil anymore so I bought a bunch for old engines.

My VW diesel with 350,000 miles on it has a tremendous amount of blowby that chokes the intake and the intercooler with oil carryover. Rislone doesn't completely stop the blowby, but it creates enough of a seal at the rings to reduce the blowby to a manageable level. I wouldn't recommend it for most cars, but for extreme cases where the expense of a rebuild isn't justified and you're just trying to get a little extra life out of an engine, it does the job in a cost-effective manner.

I was a little sceptical to use it at first being a mechanic I know there is no miracle fix but I needed to get more time out of the engine much to my disbelief it worked well and oil consumption went way down smoke came back a little after a few hundred miles but the oil consumption didn't I recommend it for a temporary fix nothing beats a fresh engine rebuild still going strong no mandatory rebuild yet thanks for your technology risilone.

This real thick oil is a must have around the garage. sometimes you need a real thick oil, and butter bean, you will have it.

Acura Integra GSR. My car never smoked, but it burned 1qt = 1K miles. This seemed to stop completely or at least slow that (so far). First and foremost though, Rislone has excellent customer service. If you are unhappy with their product, give them a call. They were willing to send me free product to try out to see what will fix my problem. While skeptical at first , I do see a good result after just a few days of being used. A clinically noticeable improvement in compression.

Purchased this product as a last gasp hope of passing smog at referee center in California as vehicle was failing smog visual and smoking. It worked. Was able to pass smog and good for 2 years. Just added another 2 bottles to my 06 BMW 750li after recent oil change and seems to jave stopped the smoking again.

99 camry v6 250k started smoking heavily at start up and on heavy acceleration, sometimes ludicrously thick smoke like a Hollywood fog machine. Would occasionally get a juddery hesitation when accelerating as well.Poured in a bottle of this, pours like honey. No improvement for about 200 miles, but suddenly things have stopped smoking at all. My 2006 Mercedes C230 start having misfire on #5. Took it to mechanic and found almost no pressure in #5 piston. He recommended to junk the car or replace motor. Actually I bought it because I had blowby issues with my engine and by recommendation of a friend. I bought on a "worth a try" kind of thought process as my other option was to tear the engine apart.Amazingly, this stuff worked. It kind of Pours and looks like honey. Good stuff and I highly recommend it.
