Good light bulb at a great price. I hate buying lightbulbs because the color temperature and brightness seem so arbitrary and no one holds manufacturers accountable for their claims so it's basically bullshit. But they match other "standard" bulbs I've bought. I can't give more stars because they don't last long enough. It costs next to nothing to make them last 10+ years (add a few microns to the thickness of the filament, for example), but they just don't because they want you to keep coming back. This leads to waste, waste and more waste. Waste in the landfill, wasting my time replacing it and wasting energy moving all that junk. If you track lamp life over time, you'll see that in the 80's and 90's there were lamps with a lifespan of 1000 to 2000 hours, and now the "standard" is 500 or less. A bunch cheaper. I've got better things to do than deal with burned out lightbulbs in a dirty old engine bay. I'd happily pay 5 or 10 times as much for a lightbulb if they could guarantee a 10 year (5,000 to 10,000 hour) lifespan. Just a tiny bit of extra filament keeps massive amounts of glass and plastic from ending up in landfills. But they won't, because no one's listening to me, because I'm just an ass.
