Review on 🐠 DrTim's Aquatics NP-Active Pearls (150 gal) 450 ml - Advanced Nitrate and Phosphate Remover for Optimal Aquarium Health by Holly Robinson

I bought a medium sized jar with a short trial period of this product (enough to get started) and started using it about 6 weeks ago. At first I couldn't get the product to tumble as it would just pool on the top of the jar and clog the strainer causing flow issues. I toggled the toggle switch off daily, dropped the beads to the bottom of the device, and then restarted it after the screen cleared. I added more beads I ordered from Revain, it took about 2 weeks for the beads to start falling freely without floating to the top. After 4 weeks I noticed a drop in phosphate and nitrate levels in my tests. At 6 weeks I had 0 phosphates and nitrates. I'm a large feeder and have a large aquarium bioburden (15 fish in 60 gallons with a 20 gallon sump). It is wonderful. My water and glass are now free of all green algae and my coral tank is now starting to grow all different shades of coral. I rarely admire a product, but I recommend this one to all marine aquarium lovers! You must use a skimmer with this product as aeration and foaming are absolutely essential, but it's worth it!
