It comes incomplete, glass only with no back panel.
When replacing a screen on an iPad it comes with glass and a back panel. Black aluminum plate. As you can see from the photo, it has several important details. The home button has been removed from the old back and added to the new back and glass. I repeat, this only comes with glass and a screen protector, costs no money as you will need to use a new backing when replacing a display.
