As others have said there are no pre-drilled holes on the underside of the bottom shelf to screw in L shaped pieces. However, the wooden dowels that come with the table keep the shelf stable, so you don't need to have a power tool unless you want to make sure it's super safe for pets, kids, etc. The table wobbles a bit and the handle looks cheap. The box is very smooth. All in all a visually beautiful table.
