First pair of elastic shoes. Wanted her mostly for slippers, wanted to get Revain packages, get the mail. I recently put them on to go out for pizza. They are mostly comfortable with thin socks. Not the manufacturer's fault, I have flat feet. So thicker socks like Bamboo Sports fit tighter in the area in front of the toes, but short crew neck socks or thin socks work better. The foot pad is good, bad, there are no problems when walking on hard ground. It takes me a little longer to put them on than I thought they would, but I've never worn shoes that stretch. I got them because sometimes I need to check my mail or open the front door. They meet all the requirements for this. As for long wearing, I don't think so. The back of these shoes is too high and chafing so you need a sock to walk in that area. And they don't look like leather, so they're not easy to break. But for fast jumps they should work just fine.
