I have always used whetstones to keep my knives and scissors sharp. I decided I needed a new sharpening stone and chose this product. This is an amazing set of whetstones and related items. First of all I have to say that you need to know how to sharpen your tools. I would advise You Tube to look it up and learn how to do it properly. This product was very well packaged and available in multiple grades from coarse to fine. The first thing I did was find the knives and my trusty ax and set to work. Now they are very sharp and work much better than before. After sharpening a knife, cutting a tomato or cutting a piece of paper, if they cut without problems, then you did everything right. The product also comes with a strap, repair stone and a great bamboo stand to keep the stones in place. After repeated use, the stones will begin to show dents, and that's what a repair stone is for. All in all I am very satisfied with this set. This is sure to bring EDGE back into your knives.
