I have and use many different straps for different purposes. There are basically two different types of nylon straps. They are made of softer and less durable bands, they stretch more and are probably less durable, at least in my experience. The cams are decent and it's nice that they include something like a buckle spacer. So if you've used them for something where the metal buckle could scratch something, this helps minimize that risk. However, if it poses a risk, it's usually best to use a blanket or furniture rug to prevent scratching.
