I received this bag just in time to take with me on my hike. I wanted a durable project bag that would stand on its own while protecting my yarn and work in progress from the elements. Since I only use circular knitting needles, I followed another reviewer's advice and removed the back stitching to make 3 large pockets (instead of multiple narrow pockets for standard knitting needles).
