I will say that this product is not a continuous cord, as others have mentioned here as well. While that is true, I am primarily making small lanyards with this cord, and the fact that is breaks off into consistent lengths is not really a bad thing at all for me, especially since the length it produces works quite well for most of the designs that I prefer to use for my knots and my beads.That being said, the leather itself is quite good, though not exceptional quality. I DO NOT recommend using this product for bare skin contact. I purchased it to make pendants, but as shown in the photos, the dye and wax on the lacing came off on my fingers and hands while I was working with it. I can only imagine what my neck would look like after sweating with this rawhide around my neck, not to mention staining my shirt collar. I even tried washing the leather, but the dye just kept coming out. It's fine for crafting, but definitely NOT wearing on the body.

The cord came very stiff and felt like it would crack if I tried to bend it more than 90 degrees.I tried using Horseman's One-Step to soften it, as that has worked on other leathers I've owned, but while it made it slightly more pliable, it did not soften it. Nice quality piece of leather strap however my color is dark brown that I ordered and that's not 100% accurate. It's a dark brown leather but it's also got black on the other side. The leather smell and a chemical smell is really strong (really stinks) when I first opened the package, but know I'm super sensitive to smells, so this is probably just me. After it sat out for a while, the smell was almost completely gone, so I really wouldn't worry about that too much. This is a nice roll of leather. I am using it for drawstring in purse and it is almost too stiff for that. I probably should have bought craft suede string.

We both this to replace the string on our glass Chemex coffee maker, as Chemex's own strings were sold out and backed ordered forever, and far more expensive. This worked out great as did the far more affordable price point. Would recommend it for the task.

I was happy when I saw the quality of the leather cord. I soaked it first to get the dye to stop bleeding. I used to restring my clutch and handbrake cover on my Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Did the job perfectly and I trimmed off the excess I did not want.

I used this to wrap one of my plainer more basic sabers that I got here on Best Buy. I had enough to wrap the hilt, braid a tassel, and wrap a smaller section near the emitter. this lightsaber is a smaller 7/8 if anyone needs an idea of measurements. It worked well and the color of the cord is great. I accidentally snapped it once during the wrap by pulling too tight but I had plenty to fix that mistake.

Multiple cats like to play at once. I toss it to them, and they take turns attacking the end of the string. They surprisingly wait their turn while watching the other cats play.Can also be tied to something for solo play. Or sometimes I tie a kicker toy to one end with a square knot so they can bite and kick while I tug on it.Very economical, lasts for years. Comes with one super long string which can be cut in half for two cat toys per purchase. Highly recommend.
