My mistake was that I thought I could get a monitor that would decently replace the screen on my iMac (I have a new Mac Studio). I've been trying to calibrate and adjust colors for days but this screen just can't work the way I was hoping. As a lot of people say, it definitely has a red hue to it and you can't get rid of it, period. Really annoying. The gray tones are far off compared to the iMac. Does NOT have good contrast, and adjusting the contrast does basically nothing other than make it look like garbage when zoomed in, so it's useless. As a result, colors appear desaturated and bright colors mix, while the iMac shows very clear color differences. The viewing angle is bad, expected better. Again, I'm coming from a 5k iMac so it's not fair to compare the two. Just a warning to anyone trying to do what I did. I ended up selling my kidney and ordering a new Apple monitor.
