Only need 2 A-type batteries, which is very convenient. I also love the fact that the fan is designed in such a way that my son's fingers don't get in when he grabs it or plays with it... like babies do. However, I would like a stronger wind or a different setting of the fan because the wind is not strong enough on hot days and I would like to increase it. On hot days I've tried positioning the fan closer to my son, but that becomes problematic when he starts reaching for it. If the wind was stronger I wouldn't have to do it, but it would still be cool. I appreciate the fact that I can attach and detach the fan to his stroller or car seat. All in all, it was a worthy $20 purchase.
