This toaster is great for toasting bread but is very disappointing when it comes to baking and toasting functions. The cookies are baked three or more times than usual and do not brown. Who wants to eat an anemic looking cookie? Searing vegetables takes longer, as do frozen fries. Crumpled fries will take twice as long or longer than the instructions say. Some brands of fries will still go soft after doubling the cooking time and look the same as when they first started, anemic. I should have realized that this is a convection oven and not a regular/convection oven. Its my fault. The stove is neither square nor rectangular, but inclined so that the top is narrower than the bottom. If you don't sneak open the door, you'll get burned, as my husband quickly realized. He has been with us for less than a month and is being cleaned out and donated.
