It wasn't formatted so my computer couldn't recognize it. Therefore, you need an adapter as shown in the picture to format the drive in a format that your computer can recognize. It's easy, you can watch the step-by-step process on YouTube. Toshiba is also a super good brand! Now my wife has enough storage space on her computer, and when she decides to buy a new computer, we can just take out this SSD and put it in her new computer. I love this SSD. It's worth it if you want something reliable and durable.
