When I switched from traditional hard drives, I was excited to see how much improvement switching to SSD would bring. The recent spate of OCZ discount offers has made it hard for me to resist at least trying something new. out. I was very surprised by the small hard drive size. I had to buy a 2.5" adapter to fit my existing hard drive case. Before moving everything to the new OCZ drive, I used Macrium Reflect to create a backup image that I stored on an external USB drive. After installing OCZ, I just cloned the image to a new drive. Everything works great, and while it might not be the fastest SSD, I've noticed some improvements. Initially I had a bit of a problem with the discount form as there were a lot of offers that seemed to overlap. There were two links to the discount forms in the original listing which were then removed so I had to search the OCZ website and narrow down if you are interested in using an SSD drive this would be an inexpensive way to get started. Make sure you always back up your information to be on the safe side.
