This thing saves lives! I bought this for my Garmin Tactix (it's compatible). The silicone strap that comes with the watch is the most uncomfortable thing on this planet and the problem I have with all notched watch straps is my wrist fitting snugly between the two notches. So it's always either too tight or too loose. This strap is just right. I can attach it so that the watch doesn't move when I run, bike, lift weights, or just walk and it's not so tight that it's uncomfortable. It breathes a lot more than a silicone or leather strap, so you don't have to worry about an uncomfortable, sweaty ring on your hand. By the way, in the water (or in a sweat) everything is fine and dries quickly enough. I like that I can set it up on the fly. When it's time to put on my gloves, I simply unbutton them, lift them over my hand and fasten them again. I've been wearing it every day for a few months now and haven't noticed any seam rips, scuffs or tears of any kind. Nylon is pretty strong. If you're an active person (and if you own a Garmin watch, I'm guessing you are) you should definitely try one of these.
