A while back I bought a Chemex kettle and a box of 100 filters. It took me a while to use up these filters, but I had to buy a new box. They arrived quickly. Exactly the same as in the last box. I always rinse the filter with hot water before use. No questions. There are 99 left to order the next box. I've considered buying a permanent metal filter but there have been many comments about how they don't quite match the Chemex I have and other comments about having to change the amount of coffee I use because Metal filters drain the water much faster. So you need to use more coffee grounds to compensate. The only oddity about this package was that they put a shipping label directly on the box and then put it in an actual shipping box. Not sure why they did it. I think someone decided that this item would normally come without a box and then, after putting a postal label on it, decided that wasn't a good idea. I have never seen such a delivery. Filters were not affected.
