This will be my second keyboard of the exact same type that I have used in my own shop which serves over 150 customers. So it has received many benefits over the years. It's well made, but a customer with a very long trailer accidentally hit it, so I'll have to buy another one. Programming isn't that bad, but it takes a lot of keystrokes to program a code. Try to do 150! But the instructions are easy to follow and you shouldn't have any problems. It takes me about an hour to program all 150. Although it says 480 codes can be programmed into it, you can choose about 10,000 four-digit codes. Just a great, solid, reliable and very affordable keyboard that I've used outdoors in all weather conditions. Cover better in frosty rainy weather, otherwise the keyboards will jam. Only a few wires need to be connected to my automatic gate. I am very happy with this keyboard. UPDATE March 12, 2016: Shortly after writing the original article, I was able to fix a keyboard that had just had a cracked case, so I put it back in place. So 17 years old. and still strong. Use this new one as a backup for now, although the original will likely outlive me.
