We have just moved in and in the process have disposed of most of our furniture and carefully and consciously replace items as needed. We've put together quite a bit of furniture over the last few weeks and months and these lamps really stand out. I know there are many lamps like these out there but let me tell you why I chose these over hundreds of others and why I'm sticking with them after building and using them. Assembly was easy. like a lot these days, it's mostly just pictures and no words, but neither my husband nor I have tried to piece it together. My husband doesn't have OCD like me, so he put it a little more bluntly. I spent some time making sure each corner was straight and level before tightening them and I'm very happy with the result. It would have been slightly better if the sticks were one long piece rather than three separate sections, but I knew that would present a number of issues. It also came with extra hardware for everything, one little thing that can make SO much of a difference, and such a refreshing difference from any other DIY item that you'd be a winner when it comes with all the necessary hardware. features a small charging bar with two standard 110V outlets and two USB outlets. It just makes this lamp so much more functional in the bedroom that we can use it as a charging station. Many other lights like this have a charging bar. However, this is already equipped with cable clips to tame the cable clutter. Like it a lot! Another feature that sets this lamp apart from others is the small drawer under the top shelf. It's perfect for keeping small messes out of sight (lip balm, earplugs, extra cords, etc.) and a nice touch. Looking for small improvements. The drawer front is flush with the shelves and uprights at the front, but the drawer and rail are visible on the sides. It would be nice if there was a "frame" around the drawer that would hide it on the sides and make it just a thicker shelf or divider. the thought behind it. From the accessories to the cable management to the LED light bulb, this was the most elaborate DIY product I've bought with great features.
