They work great and I have ordered 2 more sets for my left hand despite being right handed. When I use a hot glue gun they are very comfortable to squeeze and no matter how hard I try not to touch the hot glue something leaks out the sides and it's very painful. These thimbles are very well made. I think it's silicone. Soft and durable. When I press the glued object, the excess glue falls smoothly onto the thimbles without tearing the product. Best of all, excess glue rolls off the thimble. No more peeling burnt fingers. I think they are very affordable. It's worth it, I don't know how I lived without her for so long.
