No more burns! on thimbles

I would highly recommend to all seamstresses. They come in handy for many ironing, steaming and sewing projects involving high temperature glue guns, rhinestone installers and more. I am so glad I found this product. Never worry about burns or blisters while working on projects. With these thimbles on, the high-temp glue will still stay VERY warm on your fingers, but at least you won't get a bad burn.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No instructions

Rip off. Cheaply made and expensive!

These are huge, very thin and twice the price of Plaid Mod Podge hot glue fingertips. Both products have the same number of caps in different sizes, only the checkered caps (pink) Mod Podge Hot Glue Gun Finger Caps, 12958 (3 pcs) are thicker, more reasonably sized and fit well during use. If I hadn't thrown out the bag of Dritz's thimbles, I would have returned them. They are so big they literally fall off your fingers.

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • For oldies

Save my fingers! - Thimbles

Too bad we didn't fall for this years ago! They protect my fingers perfectly when I need to stroke something while holding them down. These thimbles aren't entirely immune to heat, of course, but they offer enough protection to keep me from sacrificing my fingers. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are HUGE. I expected this as I have very small hands and very thin fingers but they are big enough to fall off if I don't give them the right attention. However, the large size makes

Great Invention: Sewing

They work great and I have ordered 2 more sets for my left hand despite being right handed. When I use a hot glue gun they are very comfortable to squeeze and no matter how hard I try not to touch the hot glue something leaks out the sides and it's very painful. These thimbles are very well made. I think it's silicone. Soft and durable. When I press the glued object, the excess glue falls smoothly onto the thimbles without tearing the product. Best of all, excess glue rolls off the thimble. No…

Pros
  • This package contains 1 small, medium and large thermal thimble of each size.
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

NO MORE Steam burned fingertips

You know, for some reason I've always had thin-skinned fingertips. They always burned easily and although I sewed various things this was a constant problem. I didn't even know these things existed until I stumbled across them in the Nancy's Notions catalogue. I'm excited about them. I bought a small "hairpin" but sometimes you just have to put your fingers in it to make it really fit my poor fingers perfectly. BUY THIS if like me you have thin fingertips and keep saying "Oops" while vaping…

Pros
  • Fits index finger and thumb of each hand
Cons
  • Insecure
