Too bad we didn't fall for this years ago! They protect my fingers perfectly when I need to stroke something while holding them down. These thimbles aren't entirely immune to heat, of course, but they offer enough protection to keep me from sacrificing my fingers. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are HUGE. I expected this as I have very small hands and very thin fingers but they are big enough to fall off if I don't give them the right attention. However, the large size makes them easy to put on and take off. Basically I am very satisfied!
