Disappointing Performance on the Stovetop

I purchased this item for its advertised versatility but was let down when it didn`t perform as expected.While there are many positives to owning an insulated storage casserole, this one did not meet my expectations while cooking on the stovetop. The non-stick finish began flaking off, which is not only inconvenient, but could be harmful. Overall, this item would not be my first choice in the Home and KITCHEN category..
