Do not buy if you intend to use glue.
As others have said, stickiness sucks. In fact, the only thing it seems to want to stick to is the substrate it's covering. So much so that when I struggled to remove the backing, the light itself snapped in a small spot, so now half of the strip isn't working. However, the other half of the lights seem a bit bright. Bummer.Update: I contacted the seller and asked about the problem. They asked for a photo and offered to send another light. In the end we worked it out. Good customer service.
