Despite some harsh reviews, I decided to give the printer a try. Now think about it. My last printer was a cheap HP from local Walmart that lasted two days and then never again, even with all the spares they sent etc. So I got the box, it's brand new as promised. As I start to unbox it, I keep thinking that this big piece of machine isn't going to be able to be quiet or handle all the printing I want to do. Setup was easy. It took me quite a bit of time to install everything and queue up two laptops to work on it. So I took a deep breath and thought about what to print first. My 6 year old asked for some coloring pages and I thought it would be very good. I found the image I clicked on and was amazed. Not only because of its speed, but also because it made a noise when it first caught the paper, but then became almost silent when typing. to get into school, the list goes on and on. Not a single problem yet. So far it's handled everything with ease (even my two little kittens play on it at night) and with all the printing, the ink levels are still like new. I am very happy with this printer and although I will keep you informed, for now I recommend it to everyone! <3***Update*** It's March 2012 and I'm almost out of ink! This printer is amazing! I've printed out quite a few things to count and have never had a problem with them. And in the last few months this poor thing has had water damage, cats have been nibbling and playing with it, children have played with it, objects have fallen on it etc. I have to say though that I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a printer . good home printer. This is an amazing deal for the price! :)
