To be honest I didn't expect high performance NVMe SSDs to get as hot as the m.2 SSDs I own. They do. I would also like to note that while some high-end motherboards have a built-in fan for their m.2 slots, mine doesn't. I originally solved the heat issue by installing another case fan on the side panel, but my new case is all tempered glass. I have to control the temperature differently. I ordered two of these radiators and they look amazing and work great. I want to thank the other reviewers who shared their tips. Without the help of other reviewers, the "easy to install" rating would have lost a star. Important points: - The clips must be attached in a specific direction. There is a little more spring on one side to secure it. - Remove stickers from Samsung memory (front and back) with hair dryer or hair dryer. - Chips on Samsung modules have an uneven height. Use a combination of thin and thick thermal pads to achieve even contact. The package contains a lot of each.
