This is a sponge and while the videos and product demos on Shark Tank make it look like an impressive sponge, it's just another introduction to the sponge market . It has a more open structure that makes rinsing easier, but I always turn my kitchen sponges in the dishwasher to keep them clean, so it's of no real use. Basically, it's a spongy and dense version of those plastic washcloths. I watched the video and was amazed at how it cuts through the fat at the bottom of the pan. nope Tried Sponge Daddy hot, cold and frozen like those who keep their sponges in the fridge and it doesn't cut anything other than the usual stuff my other rough side sponges do. That's a smart idea and I applaud anyone who came up with it. You sold the smiley sponge for millions of dollars so thank you. But I'll go back to my regular sponges which don't need to be chilled or chilled in ice water to have some cleaning power.
