Bottom part is too short IMO
Meh. They are cute, but I have not purchased book ends for a very long time. I think that the bottom of the "L”, the piece that runs under the books, on the shelf, needs to be longer. It is short and I find that if I pull out a book & they lean, there is not sufficient leverage to keep the books up. The weight of the leaning books flip the book ends & everything goes kitty-wompus onto the floor.
