I needed several bookends but wanted something a bit nicer than the standard "library" bookends. These are great - super value for the money and they work just fine for what I bought them for. I likely wouldn't use them for oversized heavy books because they would look disproportionately small but for 95% of the books I have in my library, they are perfect.

The bookends were lightweight but sturdy! My books are all hardcovers and heavy so I was unsure wether they’d tip over or not. THEY DID NOT! I was also afraid of the metal book ends sliding on the glass shelves, but they come with grips on all four corners that allow for slide-free hold and protect my shelves from scratching! Very pleased!

Meh. They are cute, but I have not purchased book ends for a very long time. I think that the bottom of the "L”, the piece that runs under the books, on the shelf, needs to be longer. It is short and I find that if I pull out a book & they lean, there is not sufficient leverage to keep the books up. The weight of the leaning books flip the book ends & everything goes kitty-wompus onto the floor.

I got so tired of my books leaning to the side, collapsing on one another and constantly straightening up the closet shelf with my kid's books. The INSTANT these book ends were dropped off, they went straight to work and voila! Look how sturdy everything is. Even my kiddos can put their books away and not have anything collapse. Bookends can be so expensive, and rightfully so. You're paying for weight. So i knew that these wouldn't be incredibly heavy, but based on reviews I did expect them to be heavier than they are. I definitely have to angle some of them the right way with a few of my heavier books. But I appreciate how many came in the set

Admittedly, we have far more books than we need (if there is shelf space, it will be filled!), and have spent far too much time searching for affordable book ends and money buying paperweights that masqueraded as book ends. No more. These simple but sturdy metal book ends are the end of frustration for me. I slid them under the ends of the book rows and - 3 weeks later - they are all standing straight. No leaning, no falling, no sliding. Who knew it would be so easy?

I purchased stupid bookshelves that don’t seem to be intended to hold actual books since they don’t have anything to keep them from falling over on the ends of the shelf. Very nice book ends with tree branch motif. However they don't stop sliding books, flipping over etc. I finally placed some sticky material underneath to slow down the problem.

We have some fairly wobbly mounted shelves, so getting lightweight book ends was key for us. They do a great job of keeping our clusters of books together, and look subtle enough to fit with any design. Love them!

This classic design always holds my books - paperback novels to large textbooks - and the tree design is a nice plus since these bookends are visible. I ordered these twice and, both times, they came in large boxes with minimum padding, but the bookends were not bent or damaged, though the boxes were cumbersome and easily flipped out of my hands, as the weight of the bookends shifted.

I purchased these book ends to assist my parents in organizing their movie collection in the family room. They have a nice design that goes well with nearly any décor and the cut-out sections help lessen the weight of the metal. The even right angles make it easy to fit them most anywhere without the extra tab sticking out beyond the shelf. Great for organization!

I purchased these to use with paperback novels on open-ended shelving. They hold the books upright, but there are no rubber feet or scratch-prevention felt pads on the bottom, so the weight of the books pushes the bookends apart on the shelves. A quick trip to Home Depot to buy some flat rubber feet solved the problem. A good deal!

I liked the look of these and how well they support my books. I have used them in multiple bookcases and even for my cookbooks on top of my refrigerator. I highly recommend.

I wanted bookends that had some class. Saw these and love the tree branch design because we love walking in nature and my wife is an arborist. The bookends are very sturdy and have bumpers on the bottom so they don't skid. Very pleased.

Bought these to keep my shark robot from getting stuck under the cough. It’s a reclining loveseat, so there is a gap and my robot will try to go under there. Got tired of my phone going off because it would be stuck. It will "move” them, but it can’t get under anymore. But I’m sure they will be great as bookends also though.
