I bought this adapter to use with a 12" MacBook. It works as expected. When I first connected, there was no internet. Then I restarted my MacBook and the internet connection showed up. plug and play No drivers need to be downloaded. Ideal for every layman. This speeds up downloading large amounts of data when hard-wired to a router or switch. If you're a Prime member, you can get it in a day or two. I recommend this adapter.
