Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Adam Kardasz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

I myself often rely on reviews on the market when choosing something, so I will write it as it is, without embellishment. Experience of use: 3 seasons 205/55 R16 and 1 season 215/65 R16 (sold the car). For 3 seasons of operation, 1 spike from four cylinders was lost, although the spikes are glued and many are afraid of this. Depreciation 20-30% (20-22 t. Km. ) Made in Germany. Trapezoidal spike, first gnaws ice, then gnaws asphalt, in the literal sense. By manageability: The chip of this rubber is rolled snow! Rulitsya divinely, like on asphalt! When you try to break into a skid of the rear axle (on any surface, a car without ESP), you feel how the rubber itself clings to the coating tightly! Naturally, not at 150 km / h on bare ice! Do not expect such miracles from any rubber! Everything is within reason, but this rubber allows you to go crazy. Snow porridge between the lanes when overtaking is passed confidently, BUT: deep porridge and ice under it all over the road - it’s more careful here, there will be no super acceleration and super braking (yes, there won’t be any rubber), but you still feel confident. On the machine for 3 years, the car has never stuck! In snowfalls on the highway, you calmly pull over to the side of the road and just as calmly leave it. Roads in the Hong Kong region are cleaned closer to dinner, in the morning you often drive on freshly fallen snow, complete confidence. To sum up: rubber for a strong five, I recommend it to all my friends who took it - they are happy as elephants. For myself next winter I will take only her, and my wife will skate for another 3 seasons

Pros
  • 1. Acceleration and braking is beyond praise on any surface (including wet pavement, which is not particularly fond of spikes) 2. Confident handling when maneuvering and cornering 3. Wear resistance 4. The spikes sit tightly in the rubber
Cons
  • Completely missing!
