I bought this to use in the school canteen to keep track of our frying time. This thing saved a life! It is very easy to use and other parents learned it very quickly. It is very durable as it fell off the counter and nothing happened to it. Also, everyone touches him with greasy hands and he just wipes himself off. We also used the original battery throughout the season. When we end the night, we just flip the battery so it stops working. The battery is inserted upside down and does not need to be stored outdoors. We keep the timer volume low and you can still hear it throughout the kitchen. The volume setting was too loud. Overall this was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality timer that will last.
